A New Chapter in My Studio šØ

Hello Fellow Artists! Something has been quietly growing in my studio these past few weeks. šļø Itās sitting right next to my watercolor paletteā¦ but slowly taking over...it's oil paints! When I was a teenager, I had the best art instructor. I had never painted beforeājust drawing and a bit of pastels. But my instructor didnāt care, he threw me right into oils! He even took us out into the parking lot to paint the back door! šø I was painting plein air, and I didn't even know it! That painting still hangs at my parentsā house, and to this day, itās one of my favorites. Lately, I felt that same pull again, and a pull to experiment with oils en plein air. šØ So I finally set up a small oil painting space in my studioā¦ and something clicked. Now, I want to share that with you! Watercolor isnāt going anywhere. Itās still such a meaningful part of my journey, and Iāll continue sharing tutorials each month inside my Patreon page for those who are learning alongside me. But Iām also opening the studio door a little wider. š Iāve started sharing my oil painting journeyāyou'll start seeing experiments, progress, and behind-the-scenes momentsāover on Patreon. Not as polished lessonsā¦ but as a real, unfolding process.
